Path of Three Hundred

“I received this on October 18th from the Good Reads First Reads contest.  I started reading this anxious that it may be a “how to” book or a book where it just preached at me the whole time.  I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this is written like a novel.  It is a true story of an incredible journey across the ocean.  Only the names were changed.  I was entranced the whole time.  I didn’t want to put the book down.  
It showed that someone who was told that they couldn’t do something, could do it if they have a bit of knowledge, strength and could set their mind to it. 
Even after he was told he was a failure, he still continued on his course and it made him happy. 
This was such a touching book.  It made me smile the whole time I read it.
